25% off Tu at sainsburys

  • Just been in as they have a 25% sale. I picked up boys black jogging bottoms with white stripes down leg and logo at top, non elasticated bottom and they are priced £5. However they went through the till at £2.50 minus 25% £1.87. I went back and got a few more pairs!
  • Watch out for the till spits too - I got a £6 off £30 spend which stretches out the 25% even further. I usually buy some food shopping before I browse the clothes - just incase a till spit comes out for money off next purchase. HTH

I had one of those also, in fact Sainsbury's have been rather generous recently, 2 x £8 off £40 and 2 x £6 off £30. I used the £6 off today with the 25% off and got my friend her birthday present! They have some lovely jumpers in there!
  • Thanks OP, I love the clothes they have at Sainsburys!

Thanks op sent my Mum in for 'some shopping' and she bought me a cardi with 25% plus her staff discount of 10%. Didn't cost me a bean but she saved some money!!

I didn't get a chance to pop in today, I've only just got back from work. Any bargains in ladieswear / accessories?

  • Thanks, I like the kids clothes in there and spent over £40 in there today after seeing this on here.
I put £20 through self service first and completed transaction and then got a £3 off £20 spend, then put the rest through and redeemed the voucher (didn't get another voucher though!)
  • Indeed. Wasn't long ago.
If they continue to have it so often then no one will bother to paid full price and just wait for the "monthly" 25% event.

Wrong move Sainsburys :o (from a business sense)

Which is exactly what I thought when I tried on some boots last week but didn't want to pay full price- will be picking those up tomorrow :)

Yesterday I got my daughter a pack of 5 pairs of school tights from Sainsbury's reduced from £9 to £2. When I got to the till I couldn't believe it also deducted 25% (another £2.25 off) which meant I was paid 25p for "buying" them!! The 25p came off other shopping I was getting.

Does anyone know if the 25% off ends at open or close of store on monday?

Really want to go but not going to have much chance until then!
