help with re-mortgage

Having read Martin's re-mortgage guide I started the re-mortgage processs in February using London and Country. I am still awaiting completion.
London and country were great to start then I was moved to a different guy and he's been useless. Kept getting his staff to call and ask for documents but they never knew which documents I needed to send. I had already received all my original documents back.
Nationwide appointed 2 solicitors, tried to do 2 surveys. It took 3 weeks of phone calls to get them to send the mortgage offer to the correct solicitor. It has been over a month since solictor recieved offer but with wrong solicitor name on-they are having no luck with Nationwide.
For 2 months I have had to pay my existing mortgage at a higher rate (approx £150 more a month).
I want to know who I should aim my complaint at - the broker or nationwide or both??? Is there any chance of getting any of the mone back that I have had to pay?
Thanks
CLP

Write a letter of complaint to the compliance manager of London and Country and ask them to investigate your case.
