Save the Dates

Hi guys
Just a bit of creativity advice needed! I love the idea of buying a personalised stamp for our save the date message, I've seen a website where you can order them and I'm just checking ebay now to see if I can find them any cheaper (the website charges about £25). The one thing I'm struggling with, as I'm not creative at all..what can I put the save the dates on? I like the idea of an old style luggage label for example but it doesn't really fit in with our theme - coral colourscheme with white vintagey table decorations, bird cages etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also - is it better to send hotel details out with save the dates (they're giving us a reduced rate for rooms) or with the invites in Feb/March (we get married in August).
Thanks in advance!

Stamp as in ink or stamp as in postal? I was think personalised postal stamps which you can buy from the royal mail, called smileys I think.
How about buying up a few old vintage postcards (unused ones) from Ebay and sending those with details on, everyone would get a different one.
I'd put the hotel stuff on the invites as long as the deal is the same in Feb/March?0 -
Ah sorry, stamp as in ink - I should've been more clear!

That's the site we found. I love the postcard idea.0 -
How about on a length of thick ribbon? That way you can stamp bits and cut as you go, you can get ribbon in virtually any colour and probably order huge rolls of ebay for practically nothing.
You may need to use paint or more oily ink so it doesn't run.
My sister had fridge magnets printed up from an online store, they were great.0
