Decent quality bin bags

I am having trouble finding good quality black bags. I have just bought some from Asda (via online shopping) and the item description said they were strong ones but they aren't, in fact I have had to double up on them as the last one ripped inside the bin.

They need to fit in a 70L bin, as I put my rubbish straight in the black bag and then outside for collection on bin day (we don't have wheelie bins just yet).

Can anyone recommend some good bin bags and where to get them from?

I use poundland bin bags. £1 for 20. But I think it is 60L.

I have tried the Poundland ones and they are rather good, BUT I recently bought some in Home Bargains which are much bigger, you get 18 for 99p, they have the green label around them.

They are fantastic quality, hold a lot and are massive, I would say they will fit a 70 litre bin. I've stocked up on them because they were such a good price and quality!

I have the tie handle ones from Tesco, sold under the Daisy brand, and they've always been good quality (better than Tesco's own more expensive ones) ... £1.49 for 20 70L bags

I find the B and Q ones are good, even the economy bags, can't remember the exact cost, something like 50 for £4? Can't remember exactly but they never break on me.

Only downside is no drawstring so it's a knotting challenge.

I've found the Morrisons ones a bit flimsy, and have just switched to co-op.

I buy mine from my local post office £1.50 for 12 and they are brilliant. they are really thick and big

I agree about the Home Bargains bags 18 for 99p great quality.

Wilkinsons 3 pound for 50 they are made from farm plastic they are strong and have lasted me along time.Also don't have to double bag like I used to when I bought bags from Asda,Tesco.
