Credit Solutions Need help

Evening Everyone

I did have a loan and it has defaulted and landed in the hands of a company called Credit Solutions.

The amount outstanding is £3700.

They have demanded full payment immediately.

If i had the money I would pay them, I called today to make arrangements to pay them a monthly sum, this was laughed off and they are demanding proof of income, payslips, bank statements. So that they can review the situation.

Are they allowed to ask me for this? (bank statements etc)
Do I really need to pay in full?

Is there anything I can quote say to them (legal) so that i can make arrangements to pay monthly?

Thanks in advance.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.
