Where does she think the money she's borrowed comes from?

Ultimately it comes from the huge amount of interest paid by others who borrow from payday lenders, many of whom are struggling hard to support their families and don't have the option of skipping the country. Wonga doesn't have a shed out the back where they simply print the money.

I know Wonga makes huge profits, but even so people with her attitude contribute to the misery of many desperate people.
  • Beautiful, rack up loads of debt, have loads of debt in different places then p off to another Country so you don't have to take responsiblity for said debt.

You're friend sounds like a cheeky little !!!! if they think this is a good attitude to have about financial responsiblity. A flight back to Dubai won't be cheap and at the rate they are going I hope someone else is footing the bill for that as well because by that time it sounds like they won't be able to go anywhere.

3 years is a long time hoping nobody will come a knockin for the debt, and I think you'll find your friends luck will run out before she skips the UK.

If your friend does get lucky, they might as well consider this, if they ever decide to come back over here after all this passes, they won't even be able to get a mobile contract with the amount of defaults etc to her name.
Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.
