  • Thanks everyone :-) I've got most of the electrical stuff stored at home so at least I'm halfway there. I had a wander around asda the other day and its overwhelming all the choice that's out there!! Xxx

    big sack of potatoes from a local potato merchant (much cheaper than asda) plenty of meat and fish that you can freeze, big tray of eggs. cant go wrong, then you always have the basics for a meal. concetrate on the staples first and build up spices etc gradually you dont want to do it all in one go. dont spend ages 'wandering around' asda you will end up picking up hundreds and hundreds of pounds worth of items.
    Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.
  • Don't forget you can get good money off a first online shop from Tesco, Sainsbury etc etc there will be vouchers https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3071960

    and you can use a cashback site like quidco etc etc.
