Stock for both was - and still is - showing 1-2 weeks. I don't know if they were actually showing in stock earlier or not. Fingers crossed they fulfil the orders I guess!

where did it say how long it would take, when i pressed it it said it would be delivered by tuesday 12th but i guess that's an estimate.... kinda needed to wait til end of month for spare cash! hmmm what to do... :-/

I have my order delivery down as 18/10/04 or later in my account (other stuff on the order too though), with 1-2 weeks I was just going by the info on the actual product page.

This is odd because the 512 olympus is cheaper than the 256 fuji? Maybe they're clearing out olympus stocks?

You should check out ebay too. I won a bid for a 256Mb Olympus XD-card for total of £39 (this incl the£7 p&p) from ebay-seller, 'carmansfotosource'. Card shipped from Canada and received item in just over a week.

You can get a 1gb sandisk ultra II compact flash (66x) for around £75 now!!! I got mine for about 72 inc p+p from https://www.emartbuyer.com, prompt delivery too as that was including paying extra for special delivery. i have this and a 256mb xd in my fuji s7000... sweet.

Smashing! My two 512MB cards have shipped from Amazon today. Looks like the Fuji cards have come down with the Olympus ones now and settled out at £53.99 each for the 512MB cards and £37.99 for the 256MBs.

XD capacity is supposed to go up to 8GB or so eventually, so I reckon higher capacity cards are not far away...

Regardless, at least they are falling in line with other flash memory at last. Yay!
