I went to a funeral on Monday Sue, I didn't mention it on here because........I just didn't. An ex work colleague aged 54, a lovely lady :A couldn't have kids and finally got lucky with IVF after lots of years and money, had a daughter at the age of 40.......her cancer was diagnosed as terminal in August and she died last week leaving a 14 year old daughter. So very unfair :(:(

That just brought a tear to my eye.

Brother got married late in life around 42 and had DN (actually she's not really that at the moment, and don't see her often, lives some distance away) is the only child in immediate family as I never had any. So only grandchild for Mum.
Looks like I could loose Mum and Brother in the next few years and have no idea who would be my next of kin - have never got on with SIL, DN I suppose or an out of town cousin :(

ooh It's SO QUIET has everyone gone to bedibys

Just found out I can combine the Cineword vouchers with my CEA CARD and get myself and Mum entrance for only one voucher - that means we can have 10 visits, rather than 5
    .
Already had the card but never used it.
I am the disabled one and Mum is the carer :rotfl:
    Hope there's some suitable films.
Don't really go to pictures but this may make me :) get out a bit more.
  • That's SO sad fc. It's always sad when parents die but especially when they leave children.

My cousin died when she was just 36 & I think of her often - she was the life & soul of any party, heck, no party whatsoever needed. Everyone loved her, you just couldn't dislike her as she was wickedly funny. It was an avoidable car accident not cancer though. Parked her car on a hill & it started rolling, school down the bottom, so she tried to stop it & it ran over her. Left 2 girls of 9 and 14 - so sad!

Sue - you need to make a will. Your DN will inherit everything from what you put above. I've made a will (needs updating) as if anything happened to hubby OR if we popped our clogs together everything would go to my brother. There is NO way he's getting a penny as he has cost us dearly money-wise and also emotionally wise. How can children brought up by the same parents turn out totally different? I cried at the drop of a hat for years at the awful things he did to us, it affected mine and hubby's' health as well as costing us dearly. I just wonder what lies and poison he's told his children?

I'm just extremely sad that I don't get to see my dearly loved nephew & niece. He stopped them seeing us & I haven't seen them in 10+years. I would dearly love to see them but I know if I tried to get in touch it could cause a rift with their father and repercussions for us. I just hope that somewhere down the line I see them again.

Great finally found someone near me :T Bet we have bumped into each other sometime or another!

Last glitch I managed there was the cookie one recently...then before that the 1p crackers...but not much else. I am going a lot to sadas getting the nspa coconut glitch deals...maximising this before it ends...am sure it won't be on for long.

My niece and myself are usually seen together in there. Missed out on cookies as was busy at work. Was gutted! Me too seem to be at sada more lately. Got 4 lots using nspa but really don't need much more and don't want to drive there specially. I use both lut0n and dunst@ble sada stores. Will have to keep an eye out for u on next big glitch. Have a good day!
