    Evening all,

Not caught up this afternoons posts yet as just back from seeing my Mum in the hospital. She's seems a lot brighter today after a few drips and getting her temp down from last nights apparent 104 :eek::eek:
As I said to one of the nurses, it seems to have done some good as Mum seems to have a few more marbles than she did yesterday. :p. She's still unable to get out of bed though, and is in a singe room due to barrier nursing, but says she's being very well looked after on the ward she is in, so that's a positive.

Drove past the UEA and it was a hive of activity in the area with all the new student trying to find the way to the nearest T's express. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hope all of you who have dropped off or sent packing your once little angels are coping ok.

I did 3 shops today, somehow! Result to follow shortly are just about as expected, no major disapointments, and nothing went badly wrong either. :T

Glad your mum's improving Elsie, and hope all your shops give you the returns you want.

I haven't found these (blue packaging 9 packs) in any of the big stores but it seems to be the main/only As 9 pack stocked in the ex-Netto (spotted in 2 this weekend).

Ah-ha! Proves my point that we do have a silly crappy A's here, especially as it's our only one and it's in a city! It's not a neto, it is an A's. Looks like it does have it's advantages though, as I got the loo roll today. :D
  • Savvy it's not just you so console yerself old bean!

I must have missed out on about 50 nice results from willing gels in my youth thanks to misinterpretation, shyness, gawkishness, stupidity, !!!!ed, wrong word at wrong time, failure to actually start it off when they said do it in not quite so many words, etc.

Just be happy with what you got is my motto.

If anybody's interested & as it's past the watershed I could tell you about the last disappointing 1 before I got married lol which really grates as she was a bit fantastic.

Just to be clear: I have never cheated on my wife, I never will, marriage vows mean a lot to me and I totally respect the mother of my kids.

But this was before I got married or engaged.

:jall caught up - well this new thread :o.

Night all, take care and here's hoping for some more great glitches.

Oh by the way I picked up a couple of the new T's mags today. They are a different size to the usual one's - would have got more if I'd known they were the coupon mags.

    Size is A4
Food Family Living Tesco - Large rectangle apple flan on front.

Thank you will have to look for these in the week.

Well this was in Salamanca in Spain. The best place in Spain to learn Spanish as they speak Oxford Spanish so to speak - and I was topping up my Spanish as a 35 YO.

Young free & single with loadsa money and a shiny new BMW.

So I was studying intensive Castillian Spanish 5-6 hours a day with homework on top, in my class was a beautiful, sexy & delightful girl let's call her FairClare lol.

We get friendly, we study together.

In Salamanca there is still the tapas culture where you go round the bars tapeando, ie buy a drink, get a free tapas snack.

One cheap way to eat is to go on a bar crawl eating tapas for free on the way.

So FC and I get into the habit of going out tapeando with a crowd of similar friends and we get friendlier. After about 3 weeks we obviously like each other.

One night we end up nightclubbing it until 3am or so (early in Spain) and slightly !!!!ed I say why not spend the night at my place? (I have a studio flat on rent for a month).

She says fine, she comes back, she wants a shower and asks to borrow a T shirt (always a good sign Savvy).

So there she is in my bed, I have my shower and hop in.

    What's not to like?

But that was it unfortunately. No go situation, never have been sure why.

I deffo brushed me teeth lol.

    Bit of a disappointment. :D

    Fessed-up Squills lol
