Thanks for this. House was bought for 100k in 1998 and it's on the market for 200k now. Other similar houses in the area have more than doubled in price over the same time frame.
Have you considered remortgaging your home, to raise a deposit, then renting it out ? As a longer term investment ?hornetgirl wrote: »T website is showing some half price wine offers beginning tomorrow, if anyone fancies trying a FloFlo. Couldn't see any meat ones though.
Or dtd if ood sels are up :cool:Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Insurance question!
I need to get buildings insurance for our maisonette and the flat below. Our usual supplier wants £500 for the year. (Insuring at £200,000)
I just wondered what others pay, and if anyone has a similar arrangement? I have looked around and unless you class it as one house I can't find anyone that does it.
Help please?
Thanks for reading0 -

Hi
Think there is an opportunity at T using the £5 off Spanish wine with meal deals?
If the Garnacha still compares (?), this is £6.99 T and £5 A
3 x meal deals £30, less £5 Spanish wine discount, £5.97 pp for the wine and whatever else is currently comparing (mash?).
Influenced by the fact that I have a number of T coupons for 110 points wyb Garnacha (no doubt prompted by the last meal deal glitch with this wine) and varying stackable cs mocs.0 -

Man drinks to much booze and behaves like a !!!!!!.
Man asks for help to give up booze, and stop being a !!!! when he's sozzled, everyone turns against him.
She did give as good as she got, although without using squilz tactless wording.
Who is to say she is not a mare to live with ? Or me or any other poster for that matter.
Sorry i'm not being personal here, just pointing out a few certain home truths.
How many of us here have had broken relationship..all i'd imagine.
Not sure i've heard any criticism toward the lady, for her weakness in life, we all have them.

It's great to have two sides
Man regularly behaves like a tw&t, booze or not. Easy get out clause to blame booze I'd say. I drink far toooo much, but am in control. If you can't keep yourself in check don't do it.
Trying to seriously give up booze is admirable..........but when you've just shown a huge stash on here which you've purchased cheaply courtesy of Mr T......it means very little.
We've all got a few skeletons tucked away, like it or not, been there worn the T etc
I'd say she defended an unprovoked attacked, but with a lot more dignity
As for EP, just TELL your ex what you're honestly feeling, forget the shall I, shalln't I text him games. Either accept him as an ex and stay friends (IF you can handle it), tell him you really want him or tell him to get out of your life, don't just ignore and hope he'll go away. It's not good for either of you. You can't have them all.
And thankfully (all breath a sigh of relief) that's my final word on this, I've shopping to do !0
