I haven't been to sleep yet, this is quite normal for me, even after a collection of tablets including 900mg Gabapentin and Anti-depressants and sleeping tablets.

Just read, watch TV, eat and get very cross with myself.
Not asking ,for medical advice and am aware of good sleep hygiene etc, seem to have tried most things over the years, but wonder what other insomniacs do?

Morning all! I've just had to start the day by picking up a chewed slug from the kitchen floor that one of the dogs had picked up then spat back out again. My life is unutterably glamorous.

Just seen on t.com you can now "boost" your cc vouchers to buy the new Hudl tablet, priced at £119  but not bad for £59.50, no idea if it's any good or not.

    :o

It got pretty good reviews in the Sunday Times last week. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

I used to find going off to sleep very difficult too many thoughts going through my mind but when I tried Paul McKennas weight loss cd although I didn't lose weight I found that the relaxation/meditation part of it really worked to get me off to sleep. You have to practise it over and over with the cd but now I can repeat the steps and get my self off to sleep quickly.

    There's this one on amazon
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/I-Can-Make-You-Sleep/dp/0593055381/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1380607910&sr=8-7&keywords=paul+mckenna

I don't normally go in for this sort of stuff but find his relaxation techniques very helpful.
