I'd say it was a necessity.
So come on peeps, has anybody got any helpful suggestions for what SDB can drink instead? I'll kick it off by suggesting well chilled American Dry Ginger, with ice if required, it packs a bit of a satisfying punch.
Grape Juice (not the Welch yuk) red or white - Sainsbury's, Morribobs etc chilled and in a wine glass - with meal and while in front of pc/tv.
Mocktails -
Morries have Rubicon pineapple and coconut juice drink - pour a glass - add a dash of grenadine = Pink Panther
Atomic Cat - (Technically a virgin Shirley Temple but lets not go there). Renamed as my kids have no clue who she is! (I've introduced them to Laurel and Hardy and Buster Keaton but no squeaky girls ...)
Equal parts Orange Juice, Lemonade/7up and a dash of grenadine - you get a nice sunset effect.
Actually squills - think you might have the better deal. As my drinks will be calorie counted or it defeats the object for me - so ice water and lemon it is them .:rotfl:0 -

Morning everyone. JUst checked ASDA & MSM & it looks like the 3 for £5 is still running. Not sure if I am glad or not. Was looking forward to getting home after work & not being addicted to getting some more shampoo/conditioner.0

Morning all - or night all really, as Insomnia & pain strikes again. Just dosing up on Solpadol to try & get some sleep, if only for a couple of hours. Both shoulders really painful tonight & can't sleep on back or front.
Don't forget today is the last day you can use your Dr O vouchers & you'll have to wait until November for the next ones! Going to get my last 6 vouchers worth today & have been rearranging the freezers to get them in. We picked up a LOAD of bread yesterday for 5p a loaf (sadly not much speciality bread though, just bog standard 50/50, wholemeal etc.) so that had to go in the freezers and we have room for 4 pizza at max so guess we'll have to eat the other 2!
Talking about bread - got a Parisian Baguette from Asda for 5p down from £1 - talk about yummy! Looks like ciabatta when cut but moist and springy - we shall be looking for this again - at a whoopsied price, of course! Also got some Polish Rye bread - hubby loves it!
Sadly our Asda has cut down on its speciality breads - not surprised really, as up until a couple of months ago we used to fill the freezer with wonderful speciality breads, often whoopsied for 20p or so & there was usually plenty at whoopsy prices :- walnut loaves, fruit & nut, soda, sundried tomato, garlic & cheese, sourdough, brioche etc. etc. Has everyone else's Asda cut down on speciality breads too?0 -
Just checking the Wairose prices on MSM & saw all the 3 for 2 offers on cereal & cleaning. Reminded me of ambrosia. Was it this time last year when we were all having fun with the 32p glitch? Ambrosia is 53p or 3 for 2. Still using the cleaning items.0
