Although, why do film makers insist on using English actors playing Scottish parts? It is painful as a Scotsman having to listen to dreadful attempts at Jockaneese. Why not pay a load of Jocks a few beers to do a bit of acting and they would save themselves a fortune!!:p
Same reason they have Americans playing english in american films that all have the same plummy accents..
PS young friend of mine was at the premiere in Edinburgh and met all the cast, she well pleased.0 -

No objection at all - just pointing out societal inconsistencies:D:rotfl:.
Then again I stand back completely and totally objective divorced from ...(all reality I heard someone say?? How could you??!!:D) ...no, divorced from subjectivity. (No objection at all meaning "...none from me at this stage" - my opinion awaiting formation, even indeed it ever crystallises into there being one - based on other's views and alternative opinions to one another, in order to try to establish what the social convention might be and probably fail at doing so miserably). What am I going on about???
Money saving - expert!!!:D:D:D Back to it!:rotfl:
[Edit: putting a bold bit into the quote, to reply: Now I wish I'd quoted your post fully!:D:rotfl: (naughty me!:rotfl:- nah, the usual tad mischievousness:).]
