I agree that roasted them makes a far better sauce, Mr TS chucked some in the oven one night last week and we had it the next day with courgettes in as we have a glut. Made a nice change from meaty sauces.

Have been researching Irish Cream again as Mrs F seems to like it

T Irish Meadow Cream Liqueur (700ml) £4.54

A Irish Knights Irish Country Cream (700ml) £4.70

S Irish Country Cream Liqueur (700ml) £7.50 ( although it won't compare because it's not a "brand")

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Irish Cream Liqueur (1L) £10.00 ( Mrs F says this one is the nicest of the own brands.)

If it's just based on value for money then this has to be the winner hands down:

Asda Irish Knights Irish Country Cream (1.4L) £9.00 n/a.

The olive oil I use is some stuff that I brought back from Crete in April- the family who own the hotel make their own up in the mountains
