  • Finally a trigger that my local actually stocks!! All hail the NSpa coconut spray!! (second thoughts, it smells quite nasty, so maybe not...:rotfl:)

Two shops done, results at about 11pm. Off to have some yummy slow cooked beef casserole. Even tastier that I left it cooking while I was at A's, and the thought of it made me shop quickly :D

    It's only a game

Bngger! that's cost me £2. First Apg was nearly £2 more than the bill on the 1st shop so grabbed 2 bags of 6 x Walkers deep ridged crisps £1 and guess what? £2 in S! :o

Oh well, learning fast lol and with any luck free shampers

You wanted two of the A own brand 6 packs - I've just come back from Sainsbobs and they are 2 for £2 there!!:) Perhaps you didn't need to spend the additional £2 and could have had your transaction stored and gone through CS and got the change back? I think the T&Cs used to mention "if you are spending less than the value of the voucher", though how many A stores knew about this and/or applied it I've no idea. Also, I've just gone to look and I can't find any mention of it anymore. A few times I have problems not spending enough!!:D

    Good evening, fellow glitch-watchers!!:):)

My journey in fact back from A, via Sains, and I have five receipts from tonight. I think I'll do womble-predictor and see whether I'm right or not:D:rotfl:. First receipt - I think it might give a small return vs Morries. 2x Cadbury's Wispas bought at £1.75 each, see if the Dentastix compare to cheaper at M, the cereal is not too dear (depending on what size it turns out to be) - the one they bought I reckon it'll be non-comp vs M, the Kit Kat will be same price so +10p, some of the more expensive items that might have given APGs will be non-comp., but I'll lose 60p on the milk they bought and more on the Sharwoods. I've no special knowledge of how this receipt will go - you and me will find out for the first time whether it's positive or not!

Second receipt - I think it's more than 10% cheaper. Too many 50p items, and rollbacks:(.

Third receipt, following the adage to pick every single available receipt, the necessity underlined as we never know which way it will go - sadly they have not enough items. Fourth receipt - they only bought a soft drink. Fifth receipt - oh, that's my shop, where I just bought a pack of oranges as I was instore and spotted they were 50p. 50p on a pack of 700g Valencia oranges:T (unless Aldi now have some cheaper), so forget the A Medium Navel Oranges at £1 for 1kg, or the M BPBV Oranges, weighing in at around the same, for £1. Constantly finding items cheaper than ones I've already had.

BTW, I think on the big Hellmann's Mayonnaises (in 2vs Sainsbobs 2 for £1.50) that if you can you should buy for the rest of the year, for next year, and the year after, and the one after that. At 75p (less 10%) for 800g each, I don't think there will be any Hellmann's Mayonnaises appearing on my Morries list ever again. Depends on what the BB dates on this sort of product are though of course:o - but message is it's the best price I've ever seen and buy as many as you possibly can that will last you until the longest BB dates you can find.:):)
