I'm so mean, my mum asked if I could get her a bag for life. I said why because I already have her. She rightly made a rude gesture at me and laughed. :rotfl: At least it took her mind off the dye/eye test thing she's having later.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

Yes, no idea why
Fairclaire, when you got 7 activia's, what was the actual multibuy discount on the receipt? - think it may be even cheaper to buy 7?
Sanex still working with Pantene Youth trigger from shop this morning. So hard to resist this one as it is profitable but I really really really do not need any more shampoo of bath stuff0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Hi there - M list: not much change this week, in theory at least as that's more about a large number of the items from last week still being valid this week - of course, hundreds of prices obtained on potential items to go newly onto the list.
The 'carryovers' list is already here! But I wouldn't go rushing out [Strike]tomorrow[/Strike] this morning to buy them in A as they need time to filter through into the APG (assuming they ever get there) - ought to be okay though as they are carrying over from last week.
So what's on this week? I won't bother to mention the items that have been take off the list, as they're irrelevant now anyway. I'm also not bothering putting any biscuits onto the M list, quite apart from price increases in M, and I'm considering removing the biscuits that are already on the list. Just...too expensive!!
The main items to mention are the fruit bags in M. Weighing in at quite larger than usual, unless my store is an aberation - Sweet Pears pack at £1.00 is 1kg! Considering a year ago the Conference Pears, before they lost a lot of weight, were 800g at £1.00 (comparable from A for 90p net.), to get 1kg for £1.00 of other pears now is very good. The ones currently on are not comparable from the APG but not to worry as still better, from M itself, even without any 10%. Savers Pears and Savers Apples packs, although price increased (probably a few months ago now - times flies!) from 82p towards the current 89p, they are now nearly 900g each, so again quite a good price.
The ones to catch you out are the Chinese and Indian meals. The Chinese ones are still on 2 for £4.00 (so buy in twos). However, some of the Indian ones are now £2.59 and any 2 for £4.00 whilst other Indian meals are £2 straight. Of course, the £2 ones are also "2 for £4.00" if you buy 2 of them, but I doubt whether buying a £2 one and a £2.59 one would give the mbuy discount in M (let alone from APG or T PP) as the £2 ones are not in the 2 for £4 offer. Nor would I be mixing and matching Chinese and Indian meals. I'd buy two and stick to the ranges i.e. 2x Chinese and 2x Indian that are within the mbuy offer on the Indian meals and maybe add one of the £2 ones. The appropriate mix depending on what you want and which shopping you are doing etc.
Or, as Zippy said earlier, probably now to play safe and buy in twos. But, just so you don't buy a Jalfrezi together with a Tikki Masala and think that one of each of those will make £4 for M...
The 'ins and outs' are visible on the M list right away! The M price makes clear whether it is a £2 item or whether it is 2 for £4 (the Indian ones that are on this 2 for £4 are £2.59 individually). Beware that some may not compare, even if they should. I think the Jalfrezi in A has returned N/A vs M earlier. The A and T prices, of course, may be out of date - they're available to find online anyway until I catch up!
In M, Green Ridge Chardonnay Spring Wine (75cl), which had been £2.55 for as long as I've been tracking its price - this week I have mine on RTC at £1.48!:j
Some of the Oat So Simple products are on £1 in M. Including the one I have on my (now out-of-date) Avs T list at £1.22. Waiting for an mbuy glitch anyway - and T's offer had expired before any materialise so now wait for the right moment, vs M's £1!
I'm glad if there's a new trigger to the 3 for £5. Presumably the Sanex Rich Bath (500ml) product is returning N/A vs M???? Whilst there, having seen some VO5s (at £4.97 each:rotfl: in A) comparing v.good vs an apparent 2 for £5 at T, I obtaineed details of lots of VO5s and similar that on are on 2 for £5 in M. Probably all to no avail, as I see Sainsbobs have 2 for £4 (whether that's an offer or £2 each). There may be a few more options though - but probably not widening too much (vs M) - Herbal Essences in M sadly stuck on full price.
It's because you've managed to buy a number of items that are cheapest in M. Thanks for (inadvertently?) confirming the APG as comparing to Morries on the Ready Salted and the Cheese & Onion version of Walkers crisps.
The following look potentially v.good A vs M: 1 pack of Walkers Ready Salted Crisps (6) and 1 pack of Walkers Salt & Vinegar crisps (6) - I have both on 'half price' cashback on Msl. £1.68:T each in A vs 99p each for M. There is also Walkers Crinkle Variety crisps (6) also on half price Msl, but sadly the Crinkles in M appear to have increased back up in price. Perhaps helpfully though - in two sep. offers in A (3 for £4 on the 'classic' packs and 2 for £3 on the Crinkles and manages to miss both of them:j to get full prices for the half prices back, if they pay out! If you can get 1x Ready Salted 6 and 1x Salt & Vinegar 6, and also find a trigger to that offer, it may be very good?)
May be time to get the 20p Campbells MOCs out again:). Campbells Condensed soup tins (but *not* Vegetable) are on 50p in M "until 13/10/13". Cream of Mushroom, Low Fat Mushroom, Cream of Celery and Cream of Chicken (I do *not* have Low Fat Chicken) - also Cream of Tomato but appears to be Cream of Tomato Limited Edition (a different style of pack but same weight and same flavour/use etc.) - SEL in M did not contain the "Limited Edition" words on it though - so probably Cream of Tomato as well. Some of this range of product has been N/A return on the APG months ago. Can any confirmations be got as to what (if any) are comparing vs M at 50p?
Muller Rice 6 packs and Corner 6 packs are on £1.94 (until 6/10 it appears) - Raspberry & Apple multifruit pack, Crunch Corner, Fruit Corner, Biscuit Corner, and the 3xStrawberry Cheesecake, 3xLemon Cheesecake 6 pack.
Also - the following may be a 'buy in M' as appears OOS elsewhere and may be different pack sizes (larger pack size!) in M - new items Upper Crust 2 Steak Slices and Upper Crust 2 Cheese & Onion Slices, 326g, at £1.00 (until 20/10).
And I thought my carryovers were done?
This is a very good offer:T:T. Another item therefore to be deleted from the M list. So buy in twos in A (max. 10) at £6.00 for 2 vs any 2 for £1.50. It appears from msm that Sains. want to charge you £3.60 for one, but less than half the price of that if you take two:rotfl::rotfl:. (Sains.co.uk currently offline so can't currently confirm on sains.co.uk what msm is saying. Should be okay on APG as that is on msm, but as for T PP...and with sains.co.uk now being temporarily off -:question:)
Also, finally, lots of new items to add (prices permitting) onto the list later in the week (would add them now if I didn't have RL!). Will have to bid you farewell for now.
So long!!:):):A:wave:so are you saying the sanex triggers with the vo5 ??? ... if so i may take a trip there, its about 10 miles away so dont want to go unless its a trigger only popped in there yesterday as I have a new baby to shop for
....& hes gorgeous golden 8week old cocker spaniel ...may upload photo of him laters for you all to awwww over!........ If i go back to As today was there anything else i should put onto my list glitchy wise!!.... thanks for any help, oh& btw, went to toscos last night as spent all day off my laptop due to my new baby grabbed three ots of £1.89 cookies, but they came up 3 for 2
so missed out on that one! ..... Hope everyone is having a lovely day Xx Thanks Sav :T

Looks fine Sarah, only one I can't see at Sains is the Seabrook Crinkle Cut Crisps Beefy. APG approx. £15.34 if they all compare.
Ok, thanks maybe leave the crisps off and think that APG may be a bit too big.purpledonkey wrote: »I'm so mean, my mum asked if I could get her a bag for life. I said why because I already have her. My OH made an older couple giggle the other week, I said to him as we were walking in the shop "have we got a bag" and he said "yes, and went to pick me up", and this couple thought it was hilarious, need to say I didn't, could have killed him, did wallop him though.:rotfl:0
