:D was still working at 17:37 in BD23, saw 3 others there stocking up too, no idea if they were from here or the darkside! But  if the gentleman was from MSE and sees this! I was there with my DS2, stocking up for uni!

    can anyone help .......
im planning on make hampers for family at Christmas but not sure where to got the box/baskets (cheap) thanks

These are quite cute, green checked pattern, 2 for £3 at Ikea; you could use them without the lids (or also use the lids upside-down as mini-boxes)

12 x wicker baskets, on fleabay for under a tenner (not huge size, though)

B&M usually good for stuff like this, too.

Depends on your budget, and the style you want.

Well! It was good to meet you all, even if only briefly! Amazing how fast one can do a glitch shop and get through the tills!

Had seen the glitch before we went into Leeds, checked an express there and it didn't work, so was hoping it was still working in larger stores when got back, so straight from station to store :D

  • Thanks to TrulyMadly for her post a few days ago. I too was excited to see that Anchor were going round the country with a road show with tasting sessions of their new cheese. I too was deeply saddened to see they were not coming near where I live. So I e-mailed them saying how disappointed I was and they replied asking if I would like a voucher. Naturally I said,
"Yes Please!!" and happily gave my address. Voucher for a free pack of their new cheese, 350g, value up to 5.50 came today. How kind! I think the roadshow was on their webpage anchor dairy dot co dot uk, maybe with a forward slash roadshow to follow. Hope that helps anyone else who is similarly disappointed.
I am not young enough to know everything.
