I was feeling jealous and annoyed at my failed biscuit attempt at lunch time so just driven out to a superstore instead of an express.
Managed to get 3 baskets full of biccies, not sure how many all together but they were very cheap, back in the office now so I should be popular once i hand them out.0 -

Well I'm back...that was a drama. No signs on the biscuits, so I casually walked round and then went back to see a few people discussing them..
One went to ss whilst I was there but they asked sa to cancel and out they went.
I went back to put the biscuits back when someone came rushing up the aisle grabbing more..I asked did it work, said yes 22p..great I thought. Put 6 in my basket with other bits as little man decided to fall asleep enroute:eek:
Paid for them, put in car, went back in to find the couple with trolley of bags light on ss and hitler with headphones on!!!! Rumbled but not before they'd paid..
Daren't chance anymore cos she was frantically scrutinising there till receipt and typing on the computer as they left and ss lady was paying great attention to the shopping baskets!!
Does anyone really pay £1.79 for them?
Sorry that was a bit of an essay...:rotfl:
Makes me wonder if individual stores can over ride a price and that's why my t had no 1p tco...just full price
Glad lots of people will benefit from this, coffee mornings, food banks etc, you've got to hand it to mr t, when he does a discount, he really goes for it:rotfl:0 -
Wish I could just pop over to Tesco... hate missing such a good glitch!I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

So I have loads of biscuits. Am thinking of doing giving a few packs to a local charity and maybe make some hampers with most of the others. Just thinking what to put with them to make nice hampers for the hard to buy for family members at Christmas.
you could put together with some of the free twinings tea bags from waitys earlier in the yr if you have any. If not sains have loads of teas and coffess on cheap and also lovely sets of mugs down as low as 75p (tonness of homeware 70-80% off). so yu could do tea biccies and mugs in a hamper and they would be all set to put their feet up and dunk.

Glad everyone is getting loads of biscuits. Well done!
Anyone got any tips for Candy Crush for me please. I am stuck on the level where you have to match a chocolate sprinkled button with a striped candy, and a chocolate sprinkled button with a packeted candy. I can't funkin' do it for the life of me. HELP!0
