Hope the skywatchers got to see this weeks Harvest moon, my camera cant cope with the full glare on a full moon so not much detail :o, i need yet another new camera with a better range of aperture settings or wait for a jaffa moon :D

Something to note in the comming months, theres a comet on the way :D its called ISON and will be passing the sun on the 28th November, 800,000 miles so pretty close. If it survives being that close and dosent brake up we could be in for one hell of a show towards the end of the year. No telescope will be required as it should be easily seen and possibly even in daylight, lets hope it stays intact

  • Morning everyone :)

:j:j chrisv for the new thread - you have a lucky touch so I think this thread will be generous to us all x

Vimto 70p mocs from A expires tomorrow. These are great as fillers for £1 so just 30p with moc - 3 x 250 ml

Compare at £1 to S and n/a to T and W. The regular one compares £1 M, but the cherry one is n/a M. There is also a strawberry flavour but haven't tried these yet.

£1 velvert moc also due to expire.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning!

Scamps I hope the hospital can stem the bleeding. Don't be in a hurry to leave. Let them take care of you.

I'm a little sad today. To be fair I've bought it upon myself. Checked my exes Facebook last night and he was in London. Had checked into a hotel. My mind was running a mile a minute so I texted him asking if he was having a fun weekend. I actually shouted 'go on, lie to me' at my phone as I was sending it. He replied 'uhuh!'. So we've gone from telling each other we loved each other when his cat died, talking every day.....to this. I know he doesn't owe me anything. We're not dating anymore but it makes me so upset to think about where he is and who he's with and what he's not telling me. I think I'm going to have to cut him out of my life altogether because it's not doing me any good. Cried myself to sleep last night :(

Yes I've been getting these for a while with the 50p coupon because I thought the 70p expired beginning of sept.
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

Don't be sad. Problem is we all live in a goldfish bowl and Facebook is responsible for most of it. If it didn't exist you wouldn't have know where he was and would not be upset. Have a hug from me.

All on my lonesome now. There were just the 2 of us.
You could fit her room and her shared bathroom in my box bedroom and still have a bit of space. She'll have to keep it tidy or she won't be able to get through the door.

Thinking of you Auntycaz.......Midwinter too I think:A and all of you taking your babies to uni.

Talking from experience it really does get easier. You tend to compensate by finding the positives.... Less washing, the house stays tidier, you can eat what you want when you want.......rather than focussing on the negatives. Plus it's all the nicer when you see them again.
It's just one more step on the way to their independence and tells us as parents that we've done a good job. We push them out of the nest and they fly.:T
