How did someone say they got paid 58p (or something like that) for the shampoo glitch? I paid £5 for my three, got back £2.02 plus 10%, though I'm not entirely how they work out the 10%. Even if it is 10% of the total price of the Doves, it would be 80p back, so how does that work please? What am I missing?

Thanks from an occasional shopper to everyone on here.

You paid 58p for your 3 items.

Thank you. Meant to say I got back £4.02, will amend my post. So if I paid 60p, then the 10% was 38p. Where did £3.80 come from? Or have I done my sums wrong?

Still don't know how an OP reckoned s/he got paid to take all this away!

You only paid a fiver for the three items, right?

    £8 v's £3.98 total of both on APG..So you'll get back the difference +10% £4.02 +40p (rounded up) £4.42 :)

Now deduct that from your original fiver ;) Then divide by 3 for the cost of each item.

Aha! Thank you. I understand that at last. Sorry, bear brain here. So I paid 58p for the three. Maybe that was what the OP was saying. I thought s/he said she was paid to take them away.

    Thank you so much.
