My username is the first 3 letters of my youngest, the first 4 letters of my eldest (only have 2 children) and the wyn part was from a game I was playing with my OH where all the names ended in wyn, I had created this name for that game.

We had a lovely little hamster called Fudge, tame as anything. One day my eldest was looking after it upstairs, when I went to check on them, she was watching telly and the hamster was not in the box. We couldn't find it anywhere, then I realized the bath panel had a nice big hole near the pipes and so I removed the panel to find floorboards missing from under the bath and yes the hamster had gone down there :eek: We could hear it scratching down the walls. Luckily it went right down to the bottom and my brother was at my house. Inside the little cupboard (below the bathroom) my brother ripped the skirter off the wall and we could see the hamsters little nose and somehow she squeezed herself out. I was so relieved. She was even tamer after that. :rotfl:

That wasn't the end of her adventures though. My DD also accidently trapped the hamsters foot in the door of its cage. So we had to take her to the vet and they said they could either put her to sleep or take off her leg. I couldn't face her getting put to sleep so she had her little leg amputated, but she was still just as happy and tame with three legs. She lasted about 6 months after that, but about 2 years in all. We had another hamster, nibbles and she was just as tame and lovely, but fudge was the first one. Guess I might do it all again in a few years with my LO.
