Skipton BS processing times?

Hi,

I have a DIP from Skipton. I have now done the full application and submitted the additional documents requested.

No valuation has been instructed as yet. Can anybody tell me what their processing times are like at the moment between full application, underwriters and finally valuation?

Just out of interest, do they do further credit searches after the DIP?

Just keen to get this all wrapped as we are working to tight time scales and I am a natural worrier when not in control.

Thanks in advance.

3 working days to process then assuming you have paid the admin fee and valuation the val will be instructed straight away. The valuer will then get in touch with the estate agent within 24 hours and book something in when convenient.

EDIT: This is assuming you went through a broker. If you did it in branch it may be different.

  • I'm just going through the Skipton application process at the moment. Full application went in on the 7th, further bank statements e-mailed on the 11th. Valuation requested on the 13th with a provisional date of 23rd, but I noticed on the application tracker that they received the valuation back on the 19th. My broker says they normally take 2 days to review the valuation.

No idea whether they re-credit check before offer. I would be interested to know the answer to this one myself.
