Cycle helmet for 11 year old

My DD1 has begun to cycle to school on her own, there is a cycle path all the way there pretty much so she isn't actually on the road and she has done her bikeability.
she has a helmet but it is a cheapy child's one we've had for a long time and I'd like to get her a better one as the one she's got isn't really intended for what she does, and I'd like her to be as safe as possible
Has anybody got recommendations for a particular helmet/type?

Helmets aren't really sold on safety, the difference tends to be comfort.
Best to go to a bike shop and get one fitted by the staff, so it's comfortable.0 -
Get one that fits, and that she likes. If it doesn't fit it will be uncomfortable at best, dangerous at worst. If she likes it she'll be happier to wear it.It's only numbers.0
