cifas entry? but not on any credit reports

I sent a SAR to CIFAS and was shocked to find an entry by HSBC bank, apparently someone tried to open an account in my name, using an address I never heard of.
However there are no CIFAs entries on any of my credit reports, I just checked today..should I complain to CIFAs to get this removed?
Also the application was made online, so how do they think it was me? The wording makes it sound like I am the fraudster

Credit report has an entry for any CIFAS record.
If someone has a CIFAS why would it show up on CIFAS report but not on CRA report?0
