Lack of a stable address???

Prepaid cards operate on the same basis as a basic bank account in that they do not offer you access to credit. This means that they are suitable for those with a poor credit history as, unlike applying for a credit card, you won’t be credit checked when you apply. The only things likely to get your application for a prepaid card turned down are a lack of a stable address or if you are lacking proof of identity.
What on earth would be the criteria for this? I have moved 3 times, 18 months at each property which I thought was quite long, but apparently one of the reasons I keep getting rejected is 'lack of a stable address'..I am on the electoral roll..what more can I do? I have to move due to the contract nature of my job, not optional

Hi Jeystone
You could always use an address of a family member, close relative (aunt / uncle / cousin) or a good trusted friend and also register there for council tax / electoral roll?
Then , you have a secure address where any confidential post can go to and will also help you get a better credit rating.DFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499
