Mortgage approval during probationary period of new job

My wife and I have both started new jobs recently. The jobs are permanent positions but as with most jobs we are still in the probationary period for the first 3/6 months. Will this cause an issue when applying for a mortgage?
I have pay slips on a good salary going back a few years if that helps?
Thanks.

Many lenders won't lend to you in probation.
There are a handful who will and a good whole market broker will source the best products for you from those lenders.

On a high loan to value this can dip your credit score also.

If you have remained in the same or a v similar position and industry, this can often circumvent the probationary issue with certain lenders.
If its a brand new position/industry you're in (ie essentially you've no track record in the role), it will cause issues with many lenders whom will want the PP to have expired - and if so, 6 mths will soon fly by.
Hope this helps
