to all the helpful people on this site - I may not post much, but often spend my lunch hour reading threads and gleening information.
It was such information that gave me the courage to address my endowment shortfall, and turned part of my mortgage into a repayment, it was a struggle espcially when hubby was made redundant - but at 6.00 am this morning I paid off my mortgage (in tears - i know really sad but I just go so emotional) and I was relieved to find that my payouts were just £197 down on what was needed to settle the final payment.
WE ARE OFFICIALLY MORTGAGE FREE - THANK YOU

It's a great feeling and am delighted you had tears of joy. What's next for you now the mortgage dragon has been slain? Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045
Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 20370 -
