These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Win a Classic MK1 Mini Prize Draw’ (“the Promotion”) and entry to the Promotion is acceptance of these terms and conditions. Therefore please read these carefully.

No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.

The Promotion is only available to United Kingdom residents over the age of 18, with a full UK or EU driving licence.

The promoter of this Promotion is RAC Motoring Services. Registered Office RAC House, Brockhurst Crescent, Bescot WS5 4AW. (“The Promoter”).

The Promotion is not open to employees (or family members of employees) of the Promoter, its agencies, its group companies or anyone else connected with the Promotion.

Only one entry per person per household will be accepted.

To enter the Promotion please complete the paper or online entry form providing your full contact details and details of your vehicle. Entries without valid contact details will not be eligible to win.

The closing date and time of the Promotion is 23:59 on Friday, 29 Nov 2013 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be processed.

The winner will be randomly drawn (“the Winner”) on Monday, 16 December 2013.

There shall only be one Winner. The Winner will receive a MK1 Mini including a contribution of up to five hundred pounds (£500) towards the purchase of RAC Classic Car Insurance. The winner will be expected to pay any and all outstanding amounts, if applicable, above this amount. If the winner’s premium is lower than £500, no cash payment will be paid. The Winner will also receive 12 months RAC UK Personal Based Breakdown cover (inclusive of cover levels Roadside, Recovery, At Home, and Onward Travel).

The Winner will be contacted by Towergate to provide a quote for RAC Classic Car Insurance. The winner can choose to use the £500 contribution towards RAC Classic Car Insurance within 12 months of being notified. After which the offer will expire. RAC Classic Car Insurance is for cars that are used as a second car and will not exceed 7,500 miles per year. Full terms and conditions of RAC Classic Car Insurance are available at rac.co.uk. The £500 contribution will not be made towards any other type of insurance.

The Winner agrees to be bound by the RAC Classic Car Insurance policy terms and conditions as detailed in their policy booklet, including payment of any cancellation fees. If the Winner cancels the RAC Classic Car Insurance policy after the cooling off period no refund will be given on any part of the premium paid.
If the Winner decides to cancel their current Car Insurance policy, the promoter will not pay any cancellation fees as set out by their current Car Insurance provider in order for them to transfer to a new RAC policy.

The Winner will be notified by telephone by the Promoter within 15 days of the Closing Date for the Promotion and given details on how to claim their Prize. If the Winner does not respond to such telephone call from the Promoter within 5 days of the time of notification, then the Winner's Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner.

The Winner and the Promoter will agree on a mutually suitable date for the car to be delivered to the winners address.

The Promoter may ask the Winner to provide proof of age and/or country of residence.

By entering the prize draw the Winner agrees to take part in post-Promotion activity.
Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and that are not specifically included in the Prize, including travel to and from the event and any other incidental costs.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
Subject to the above, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
The decision of the Promoter is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence relating to its decision.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
The name of the Winner for the Promotion will be available upon request for 4 weeks after the Winner has been notified by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to; Win a MK1 Mini Prize Draw, c/o RAC Sponsorship, RAC Supercentre, Great Park Road, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 4QN. The Winner agrees to have their name and county disclosed for this purpose.
