Are Experian stricter than Equifax?

As you know, Lowell like nothing more than to go to town on your credit file...However even though I have many Lowell searches, I have 0 negative factors on my Experian file, as if Experian don't find their requests to place a default valid
Equifax however seems a lot more lax, and it is riddled with Lowell defaults...well..2
Is Experian a little more cautious with data? Also Equifax never reply to any letters I send them

Can't help on the other bits.:beer:0 -
The info they hold is only put there by companies THEY deal with. The creditors have to pay them for the service.
Historically - most used Experian, with a smaller number using Equifax and then Call Credit.
This meant the latter held less info - as they didn't deal with as many companies.
Looking at my latest Equifax report though - it looks like they are catching up.
Most larger companies will now use at least the main 2, and probably all 3.
So its not that they are slacker - just that they only show info they are paid to update.
If you are getting credit from a company that ONLY uses Equifax or Call Credit to approve your credit- thats good news.0 -

But if that's the case, wouldn't Experian have the most defaults recorded? How can I have 2 defaults on Equifax but none on Experian? because Lowell don't want to pay to update Experian?0 -

Yes, pretty mutch.
In this case looks like Lowell only use Equifax.
Ive never heard of Lowell - and smaller companies tend to use Equifax, as its cheaper.0
