The saga continues..
They have now stopped collecting money re council tax and have said id get what i've paid back but no idea when!
The housing benefit crowd's another story, they simply ignored me until I sent them the info posted here by fermi, they promptly replied then saying that as my br was in scotland they are allowed to continue collecting payments until i'm discharged (typical that discharge is a month after they get their last payment!)
I suppose somethings better than nothing though lol0
