Scam or Real ?

I have just had a phone call from Scottish Power telling me that I got through to the next round of the competition to win free electricity for a year.

I don't remember entering this but to be honest I enter so many competitions, I don't remember them all.

He didn't take any details from me he just confirmed by name and my email address (which he told me and was correct) and told me they would be in touch if I won.

Does anyone know anything about this competition ?

Could well be genuine, there has been a comp to win your electricity bills paid for a year, I remember entering it. He had nothing to gain by calling you if he didn't try to sell you anything did he?
