Dehydrating beans...?

I've searched the Dehydrators thread and can't find anything...
Can french/haricot beans be dried in a dehydrator? The actual beans that one would use for cassoulet, not 'sliced green bean'?
I've got lots on my lottie and nowhere to dry them....
Thank you!

A quick google "dehydrating beans" pulled up this:
http://www.wikihow.com/Dry-Beans
which looks useful.
Another blog suggests cooking them, then dehydrating them, in which case a 20 minute soak in boilding water should return them to an edible state.0
