Wedding guest at an October wedding - what to wear?

We're going to a wedding in late October. Really struggling with what to wear.
We'll be a few days back from our holiday (so will no doubt be feeling the cold) and I don't want to be in something uncomfortable. I'm 5'9" with a curvy figure (and a bit of a mummy-tummy still
).
I have a jersey dress, but I'm not sure it's weddingy enough. It's this one https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=PHASE+EIGHT+TAUPE+JERSEY+DRESS&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=4Nc6UvjlG6m20wXkoIGgDw#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=CwkzZOxKn-xKyM%3A%3ByNauL-2iSY7D1M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fi.ebayimg.com%252Ft%252FPHASE-EIGHT-TAUPE-IVORY-JERSEY-RUCHED-DRESS-SZ-14-%252F00%252Fs%252FMTYwMFgxMjAw%252Fz%252FkrMAAMXQvTlRh~Ox%252F%2524T2eC16JHJGkFFm2q2QCpBRh%252BO%29eT3!~~60_35.JPG%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.co.uk%252Fitm%252FPHASE-EIGHT-TAUPE-IVORY-JERSEY-RUCHED-DRESS-SZ-14-%252F161021954676%3B225%3B300
which is the same shape as this one.

I don't know whether to stick with that, or go for something more like this (which could then have "bra showing under the arms" issues).

Any help much appreciated!!

Found a pic of the whole dress.
It's a good shape for me, but just not sure whether it's wedding-y enough. (Why oh why don't people just elope?! :rotfl:)
I do like the pink one, but I wouldn't get much wear out of it, I worry that the colour is a bit too "look at me" and I don't want to be freezing cold!
The taupe dress cost me £35 and I can see me wearing it to other things. The pink dress is £95 in the sale!
Hmmmmmm. Still unsure.

I think that dress would look good with a nice jacket.0

I really don't like jackets. Or rather, they really don't like me!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

I think it looks fine for a wedding. (If it's Phase Eight, I'd think it's certainly wedding-y enough, - isn't that the kind of stuff they specialise in?)
I bought an outfit for an upcoming wedding, but I think it's going to be too cold for it now. It was a nice summery skirt and 3/4 sleeve top. I need a plan B :rotfl:0 -

Thank you. It's jersey material, so more "work" than "wedding" to my mind. But I can't be doing with being uncomfortable all day, especially when I'll have DD to run around after.
Thinking I can dress it up with a bit of jewellery and maybe a nice hair accessory. And shoes. I haven't sorted out shoes yet.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
