Bible Cake - using verses of the bible

I can't find anything in my house at the moment, not my diary, my to-do list, not anything. I haven't seen the plot in weeks
One thing I can't find is a recipe for bible cake. It refers to verses in the bible so it will say (for example) Genesis 13:12 (made up reference) which refers to a peck of meal.
I have got a copy somewhere, but I have no idea where, and I am rather caught up with my 6 month old DS. (I really admire people who can cope with all sorts of things andbabies)
I know the recipe is a bit odd, and I have yet to see a version of the bible that refers to self raising flour, but I would love to have it for my DS's christening.
Can anyone help?
Many Thanks
Hev

Here's another one http://funandgames.org/quiz_bible_cake.htm
I've made this, sometimes known as Scripture Cake, for my Gran. I included the recipe for her to work out. It went down very well. The recipe I used was from Cakes Regional and Traditional by Julie Duff.0 -
I am looking forward to trying them out. I am assuming that the sweetener will be honey, but I shall be searching my old King James Bible for the references.
I love recipes from the days before meals went 'ping'.
Thank you so much.

If you can't find your KJV, then look on https://www.biblegateway.com and put in the refs and select the translation that you want0 -
Thank you, inkie. There must be at least six bibles in this house, and that includes two KJV (DH got into theology) but at the moment I can't guarantee to find my own head
Really appreciate the tip.
