I was just looking through the comps when I saw a post "Win beats pill...etc..."and I sat here for a few moments thinking how odd, offering pills as a prize *sigh* but I suppose this isn't as bad as when I signed up a few weeks ago, started looking through various threads and seeing "Divorcee" next to user names, mentioned it to my son and was told I really should get my eyes tested. Whoops!

my sign of getting old is not being able to see pale writing on a white background - too many comps seem to do this & I DO have my eyes tested regularly

I know I am getting old because I entered a comp yesterday to win six pairs of wide fitting sensible shoes. Gone are the days when I would have worn killer heels.

Reminds me about the comp for a sex toy called Fleshlight someone posted up recently, a lot of people thought it might be just the item to help them see in the dark.

When I first started I thought there were quite a few comps for Rugby Union prizes (RU prizes) only to eventually figure out it was runner-up prizes - Doh!

I have the same problem- so I just highlight the difficult area to read, much clearer that way.

Oh, and the Optician has increased the reading strength on my varifocals just this week.

:eek: LOL, I know what you mean! I hold to the comforting thought that I'm at least not at that age where I am entering comps for support stockings but not too far off!
