who cares what card you have as long as the goods are paid for, certainly not the shop. Sounds like a certain snobbishness creeping in there.0

I see you have edited the bit where you called me ridiculous because I have different feelings than you; realise it was in itself ridiculous did you?
Edit: Now you've changed it to call me snobby? Are you trying to rile me?0 -

I would love to continue this battle of wits with you, but you're clearly unarmed.
Unless you feel like offering an answer to my question instead of asking for my opinion then slagging my opinion off in two different ways, please go away.
Eloquent enough for you?0 -

Why are you being so insulting and aggressive? I have had nothing but excellent help from this site in the past, which has helped me immensely.
Nobody has judged me, or insulted me. Then you come along...
I repeat - unless you have anything helpful to add, please leave it and go away.0 -
I'd suggest going into your own bank first and see what they can do. One if my friends had a similar issue (she was with co op) and they changed her from the cash minder to a current account.
From memory Halifax Did a soft search to see if you would accept me for credit cards and loans, so I assume they would have the same for their current account. No harm in asking in the branch.0
