HELP! PVC window won't close!

PVC window in our small bedroom won't shut properly.. it's side hung and never really noticed the problem until last couple of days with this cold weather!
When we close the window, the seal is tight around the handle is but where the hinge is there is a gap enough to put my baby finger!
[FONT="]Would anyone recommend any PVC window repair company operating in Belfast?! or does anyone have any solution? Thought about getting sealant from B&Q as a temporary measure but would really like to get it sorted before the weather gets any worse!
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the hinges need adjusting or replacing. I've had similar problems. Go to http://www.dcwindowsanddoors.co.uk/ they fixed our windows and conservatory and are due back to do a little more work on a window which won't close properly like yours.
Don't be using fillers or sealant. They just have to be cleaned off later.0 -
Thanks GlynD!!
I will give them a call. Can I be cheeky and ask how much this is likely to set me back?! been ringing around and no one seems to be interested as it's such a small job!

Or try Double Glazing repairs Millisle on 028 9186 2736. Never used them myself but he repaired a front door lock on my neighbours house for £38 last year, neighbour said he came out quickly & did lots of little repair jobs for reasonable money0

Never had any locks repaired by them. A set of new window hinges, fitted, set me back £20 whilst removing my conservatory roof and refixing it cost £60.
Fireman Phil is probably more or less on the button.0 -
Just had a local guy come and gave me a quotation. £50 to change a set of hinges.. not only that the earliest date he could do it is 2weeks from now, he also said he doesn't do VAT receipts (I wasn't even asking about it)!!
Now I am seriously considering whether I should get the hinges and fit them myself! Am I mad?! how hard could it be?! has anyone done this before?! If so, where could you get spare upvc window hinges locally?0
