Has anyone heard anything on this yet ? Barclays were supposed to be sending out letters with cheques to affected people this month, they don't have much time left !0

Bump !
Anybody ?0 -
Sorry to bump, but now it's November - did anyone get a cheque?Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0

Yes I would like to know this as well. I haven't received anything.0

Yes, got a letter two days ago. Interest 'repaid' by £3700 which is very nice. However, as I still am paying the loan they have reduced the term by 11 months and NOT a cheque.
Anyone else got anything?0 -

Good to hear than someone has received a letter. It would be interesting to know why the refund was issued as it wasn't very clear who would get what?0 -

What was the refund for? Were you up to date with your loan?
As there is talk it was only those in arrears because of additional statements sent out. No mention of people who requested statements to settle early and things.0 -
Well, depends what you mean. I had two payments postponed last year which they then put on the back of the loan, so did get sent letters. So technically I am up to date. tbh I am not sure what was missed, wrongly sent out or what was wrong in those letters. They sent them all to me as requested by the OFT though.0

No to the original loan term though.
That makes sense they said the customers mainly affected were in arrears. So things like asking for a later payment date, delayed payment, that kind of thing. So the extra statements which went out were inaccurate or missed other information off.0 -
Hi,
for future reference would you post the department dealing with the refunds along with the contact numbers.
Well done for your good news.0
