There's 2 things I'd like to win - first is any holiday/weekend break or whatever where the organisers recognise that some people are single and like it that way and are quite happy to travel alone - or don't perhaps have anyone to take with them where it would be appropriate for them to share a room.

The second thing would be a turkey. Yup, a turkey, because first of all I'm getting too old to cart the damn thing up the two flight of stairs to my flat, and secondly, even if I resort to ordering online, you can bet your bottom dollar that my delivery will arrive on Xmas Eve and they will have run out of turkeys so will have substituted it with a packet of frozen chicken nuggets or a pound of bacon or something equally ridiculous!

Murder mystery, British Pullman, my idea of heaven. MASSIVE Poirot (and Agatha Christie fan) so this would be amazing

[Of course if a comp came up on the Orient Express to Venice this would be even better.....]
  • *keeping my fingers crossed* for ALL of you & your "what you'd like to wins"!

If anyone has a spare pair of fingers to cross what I'd really like to win is a pair of tickets to anywhere for New Years Eve *nod* no sob story but it has been such a long time since I've 'dressed up' in something sparkly and gone out :o/

It's just I'm now at that 'Mum age' where my jnrs don't want to spend time with me and it would be kinda nice to...well you know...dress up and be all...well you know...grown up?

PS. Oh now I feel like an embarrassed teen for saying! :rotfl:
