Short term loan
Options
I need to borrow about £2,000 as part payment towards a car. I'll be able to repay the full amount inDecember when I'll receive a lump sum of money. I'm gathering money together from a variety of sources, (old car and savings) but still need this £2,000. I had thought of doing this through a credit card, ie, drawing the cash out from a credit card, preferably on a 0% deal, then paying the minimum back until December, but I'm beginning to think this isn't feasible. I need to do this next month as I have a guaranteed buyer for my old car, prepared to pay a good price.
Anyone out there able to advise please. THanks

With credit cards you will get charged a cash advance fee and this is not considered as a balance transfer or a purchase to be entitled to a 0% offer.
Certain cards that allow stoozing which gives you 0% on transferring the credit card balance can be found here ( look for the SBT cards ):

This would be the best option to go for if the amounts for a short period. Getting £2000 as a credit limit will be dependent on your credit rating with the company.0 -
Thanks for the info. But what is stoozing. It's not something I've come across before.
