Cheapest instant oats that are not original or golden syrup flavours

I live alone and like the fruity instant oats. Aldi only do the original and golden syrup ones. It cheaper for me to buy the ones with fruit already added to them than to buy plain and get some dried fruit.
Recently in Asda's tat section, I have bought Quaker's OSS apple and sultana and strawberry and cranberry boxes.
I only buy OSS if its less than £2 a box.

Well...over time you could buy 8 boxes for £16...which would weigh 3.08kg and have 80 servings costing 20p each.
Or...buy two 1kg boxes of Quaker oats for £1.98 each (£3.96) and add your own dried fruit. 3 bags of 350 gram Whitworths sultanas, raisins and currants which would be £3 and 2 bags of 100 gram urban fruit berries, cranberries and grapes would cost £3. Mix it all up and you have 3.25kg of oats which you can portion out into 105 servings costing 9.5p per serving.:footie:

I live alone and don't have the space for boxes of dried fruit and oats.0 -
If you have no space for that then keep buying the packs of 10 for £2 as you currently do. It doesn't even take up that much space. A few plastic cereal pouring containers perched on top of the kitchen cupboard.....anyway just stay as you are. I helped. sigh...fionajbanana wrote: »I live alone and don't have the space for boxes of dried fruit and oats.:footie:

I know how you feel Happy MJ,
Even smaller packets of what you suggested would be half the price and still only take up as much room as what is bought now.
Sigh.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Buy some sellotape and squash the boxes into the shape of a bf, securing it all with sellotape. Sit him on the sofa.fionajbanana wrote: »I live alone and don't have the space for boxes of dried fruit and oats.

Sainsbury's SO organic 10 express porridge original sachets 1.89
My OH loves these - he stirs in jam but you could buy fruit from somewhere like Aldi or Lidl - Lidl has a pack of little boxes of raisins. I've seen packs of little boxes in Pondland too.0 -
That's more expensive than Quaker oats...and the OP doesn't have the room for oats and packs of dried fruit and really wouldn't have the room for jars of jam as well.Sainsbury's SO organic 10 express porridge original sachets 1.89
