Hello,
I sent mail to Metropolitan CollectionsServices for statement of account on 29th June with £1 cheque. They cashed a cheque, but I did not receive any reply from them. So, I sent another mail on 15th July 2013. But, I have not received any reply from them. Please advise if I have to send anotehr chase to them. I have made monthly payment to them through Payplan. But, I have not received any statement from them. Thanks in advane for your advice.

Did you use a specific template letter?
A £1 payment is usually sent with a CCA request for a copy of the agreement, a £10 payment is sent with a subject access request which provides you with all details they hold on you (including statements/full transaction history).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
You shouldn't pay £1 just to get a statement of account, though it may be worth doing it to get a copy of your credit agreement (and a statement of account).
Have you tried writing to HSBC themselves? Is it a loan or credit card?
