Credit Reference Agencies

Not sure where to start.......
I have for many months used Experian credit score site and happily last month my bankruptcy has now dropped off, then being nosy i read about noodle on here.I registered and my report was not so good in fact, it was showing a poor score due to an account default with a company called CL Finance when i delved a little further it seems the account was opened in 1997 and I went into default in 2007 then closed/settled in 2011. I declared myself bankrupt in 2007 so how could i be in default. I have since looked at Equinox and Call Credit and they are all showing this account as a default. Has anyone else come across this? i have heard a little rumour that this company are known for this but i want to get it corrected any ideas??
