Could we start an old style Christmas challenge?

Hi guys I have come to the conclusion that I would like to make as many Christmas presents as possible this year to try and make it a bit cheaper so wondering if we could do some kind of challenge of what we would normally spend and what we have spent by making the present. Anyone up for it?
What I normally spend is
Dd1 - £70
Dd2 - £70
Ds1 - £70
Neices - £20-£30 each
Dh - £50
So far I have started on a doll which I am hoping to make for neices and dds, so 4 altogether they come with two outfits each so that would be the neices only presents and I think it should cost me around £5 once finished. Think I will make dh a hat and scarf lol but truth be told I think I buy him stuff more for myself than him as he is not really bothered. If anyone has any other ideas would be great, dd1 is 7, dd2 is 4, ds is 6, neices are 6 and 2.
Thanks

As this thread has dropped down the Old Style board with no replies I've moved it over to the Christmas and Yuletide board to see if you can get more responses.

I'm liking this idea!! One thing I did with all my friends last year was make on of those "cakes in a jar" thing where you have all the ingredients in a jar and they just add milk/water/eggs. Like this:
Saved me a lot of money
I tend to make my own Christmas cards for my family so that saves me money but my family all have birthdays next to Christmas which makes it more expensive
Overall for 4 Christmas + 3 birthday prezzies, I spend £140 which I really need to get downBroke Student :beer:0 -
wow i love the look of those jars0
