CeMAP Courses

I'm currently studying CeMAP 1 and I've now finished the binder. However, I'm not confident thats its all sunk in - studying by just reading has never been a strong point of mine.
I've been looking at the course that the Herne Group do. It consists of 21 DVD's and 21 CD's plus other material, directly from them its £1000 for all 3 modules, but you can pik them up on Ebay for around £400-£500 - a bit steep, but I could always sell them on again.
I dont know whether to bite the bullet and just pay it. The thought of reading all the way through module 1 again to get up to scratch makes me want to go in the drawer where the razor blades are kept!

I was looking at Herne and it did look good especially after I realised you could pick them up on Ebay. However, I have decided to train with NewLeaf Financial Training (google them) as you get classroom time - 4 saturdays in a month to do CeMAP1 then 4 sundays to do CeMAP 2+3. It costs £550+VAT to do the training and they train you until you pass. You then have to pay the FSA costs £130 per module but you would have to do that with Herne as well. They train in a suite at the University of Westminster so obviously you would have to be able to get to London.£2 savers club = £160

London's too far and the link you posted Joe is a tad expensive.
Think I may get the ebay Herne stuff and then sell it on...0 -
i've just done my CeMAP 1 training with a company called Training R us (http://www.trainingrus.co.uk/ ) and found them very very good. Took my CeMAP 1 today and passed both modules one a pass and a merit on the other one. The training was very easy to follow and everything was well explained clearing up a lot bits of the book.
