Blimey! I thought there might be a few more competitions in December but I never imagined there were that many!
    I'm scared.

Don't worry.... no matter what happens, you'll probably win some Pringles speakers! :rotfl:

I hardly won anything last year but then got a biggie...£250 Ted Baker voucher, so plug away at it :D

I'm going to be on holiday in Florida at the start of December. But I WILL be dedicating time every day for the advents - I've heard great things about them and I cannot wait.
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j
  • I love the Advents and every year seem to have a better year than the last, I have some great wins and makes up for the extra hours each day. I do get up that little bit earlier during December just to start doing some of the Advents as working full time there are not enough hours in the day otherwise!

I didn't have time to comp properly during the advents. I did all the normal comps and did well on those.

I am SO excited about it! I can't wait!! :D Haha
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers
  • Hi all, it will be my first Christmas comping too . Are the dailies put in order of web only, Facebook only twitter etc. The only reason i ask is I dont do FB or Twitter so would be looking for web only option if its there. It does sound exciting though. I hope my appointment for a minor op comes through Nov/Dec so I can take my full 2/3 weeks off work with bed rest to recover (and advent comp to my hearts content!!) :)
  • How exciting!

How long do people generally spend comping everyday. I work full time but normally spend my lunch break entering comps and then spend an hour or so when I get home. But it looks like some people really put the hours in, which is probably why I'm not winning anything!!!

The amount of hours people put in varies, but since comping is random someone could enter 100 comps and not win, where as someone else many only enter 1 and win. :D You've not been comping that long so please don't give up :) I started a few months back and enter loads, up until last week i'd only won a £10 voucher but then I won a tv out of the blue, so perseverance is key :o
