I received an email on Thursday saying I had won something but did not reply within the stated 72 hours as I was away (actually only saw the email this morning) Are companies really strict on this rule? What are the chances of still receiving the prize?

if it's company you may have time as the weekend is not usually a working day - I believe the IPM guidelines are for comps to allow 28 days for a win to be claimed so that may b worth checking out

It may also depend on whether they've redrawn for another winner yet. Fingers crossed they haven't. If you haven't emailed them yet, I should do so as soon as you possibly can.
