HSBC - Do theyoffer payment holidays?

Hi
I desperately need to raise £700 to pay for unexpected repairs. I am currently trying to take a payment break from an unsecured loan but if this is not possible I was thinking of asking HSBC to give me a 1 or 2 months mortgage break. DO you think they would consider this? Totally up to date with payments since the start of our mortgage - never paid late etc etc.

A better option would be 0% credit card.I'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.

Unfortunatley a 0% card is not an option for me at the moment as my credit is not good enough. Am working hard to bust my debt and build credit but I still have a way to go ( all down to my own stupidity and disorganisation I am ashamed to admit)0 -
