iTunes Festival win + HELP!

My first win for ages - two tickets for Katy Perry on the 30th September from the Metro

Has anyone else been to any of the other itunes concerts this year?

I entered hoping to win tickets for my wife and daughter, and was successful, but forgot to enter in my wife's name, so the tickets are in my name.

The FAQ says I can't give them to family members and must attend myself. I emailed the festival last week but haven't heard back

What is the ID checking like? Do you think someone with the same surname will be okay?

omg massive well done :T my daughters a massive fan she will be gutted if she dont win any for this shes been to all her uk concerts !
but sadly Itunes are really strict with id for some silly reason , iv been to a few gigs there live 2 mins away form it my husband also use to stewards there
i have gone and just taken a bill etc and they do check so looks like you may have to take her

Congrats on the win! I won tickets for Kings of Leon last week. I was told to take photo ID and it was checked carefully on the door. They seem particularly strict on ID at iTunes.

My daughter went to see Avici the other night. She had her ID checked.
There is a reserve queue which if you turn up early for you stand a chance of getting in, as not e erroneous who wins tickets turn up for the event. It depends if your wife or daughter want to take the risk and how far from London you are etc.
